This facial course is the starting point for becoming a qualified facialist and the entry course so you can follow on to learn more advanced facials.
We will give you all the knowledge, practical skills and confidence you need to perform a professional, in-depth and results driven facial.
You will leave the course full of confidence in your ability to carry out a facial good enough to be done in a high-end salon so you are able to go and start work or start your own facial business straight away.
I’m not just going to teach you how to just go through the motions and remember the routine you do a facial in. I’m going to show you consultation techniques, skin analysis, how to recognise what skin type/ skin conditions your client has, a full professional facial, aftercare and retail advise and so much more. I’m going to share with you my knowledge of 23 years of being in the beauty industry, performing facials and dealing with clients.
Firstly, you will start with your theory-based tasks which will all be completed online and at your own pace at home. To prepare you for all the knowledge you need to have to be a successful facialist. This leaves us maximum time in the salon to concentrate on honing your practical skills to be an excellent skin therapist where you will spend two full days.
On completion of our practical days, you will be required to carry out two case studies at home to demonstrate your capabilities.
You will then return to the salon for a final facial assessment on a paying client with my supervision to show off all you have learnt and that you are a very capable therapist.
You will then be presented with a certificate to show you are qualified in performing facials. All our courses are fully accredited so you can become insured and start your new career in the beauty industry straight away.
