Terms and conditions of use

Payment terms

Upon enrolment on the course, you can pay the balance in full or pay for your online training before commencing. This amount varies but is usually a third of the full cost of the training course. This amount is non-refundable.

Once you have completed the online training and no later than 48hours before your in salon practical training you pay the remaining fees. Without payment in full you will not be able to attend the practical session.

The person who has signed up for the course agrees to these terms and conditions, and has the authority to do so. In the event he/she is not so authorised, he/she will still be personally liable for payment of the agreed fee.

Upon completion of the course, you will be issued with a certificate of your qualification so you can obtain insurance this is the responsibility of the student. Skin Solutions can offer advice on insurance but is not responsible for any insurance matters after completion of the course.

Cancellation and refunds

Notice of cancellation must be received in writing, by post or email, and is subject to the following terms:

Refunds are not given where COVID 19 or any restrictions put in place by the government are related. If a lockdown is put in place courses will be moved until after the lockdown has finished. No refunds will be issued in any circumstance when a lockdown is in place at the current time and must be requested once the lockdown has finished.

Refunds are not given on the pre read online training section of the course once the payee has access to the course.

Where notice of cancellation is received more than 14 days prior to the first day of the in salon practical training, the payee will be eligible to full reimbursement of the practical course fee, or deposit/instalments paid.

Where notice of cancellation is received less than 14 days prior to the first day of the in salon practical training, the payee will not be eligible to reimbursement of any course fee, or deposit/instalments paid.

No refund of fees will be made for absence due to illness or for withdrawal during the course for any reason, or at any point during the course.

Attendance

If a participant, having started the course, then withdraws from the course for any reason, it is not guaranteed that the participant will be allowed to resume attendance. All course fees remain payable.

Despite our best efforts some products/services may be incorrectly listed we reserve the right to charge the correct price if you don’t agree we can reject your order.
